Grande River Vineyards, Colorado Solar Powered Winery

mt garfield palisade Grande River Vineyards is the most innovative winery in Colorado. Nestled adjacent to the beautiful Bookcliff mountain range, the vineyard produces some of the most exquisite wine Colorado has to offer. For approximately 20 years they've been the largest grape growers in the state, and now not only has the largest solar array of any Colorado winery, but is also the first winery in the state to take advantage of all the financial and environmental benefits that come with Solar Power.

The Colorado winery offsets approximately 44 tons of carbon emissions each year, making it the most efficient establishment of its kind, with the smallest carbon footprint.

solar inverters Syndicated Solar, a leading solar and renewable development firm, facilitated all aspects of the Photovoltaic project from initial consultations to system commissioning. The system was seamlessly integrated to the building and electrical service in a 10-day period with minimal disruption to the business and its owners.

The solar system was designed and installed to maximize efficiency and energy output. The Canadian Solar poly-crystalline modules offer some of the highest efficiency the industry has to offer, we utilized SMA string inverters to capture an additional 2% efficiency over the alternative, all conductors sized and spec'd for minimal line loss.

The system was installed, commissioned, and turned on in record time.
